The DBNA and BGA trip to Semban is now moved to Saturday, 22/09/07 (not Friday, 21/09/07 as originally planned). The itinerary is as follows:

Saturday, 22/09/07:
9:00am: Participants meet at kampong Bengoh
9:30am: Trek to kampong Tabak Sait 
11:30am: Lunch at kampong Tabak Sait
12:30 noon: Trek to kampong Rejoi
7:00pm: Dinner and cultural show by Rejoi and Semban groups
Spend the night at kampong Rejoi

Sunday, 23/09/07
8:00am: Breakfast
9:00am: Education talk
11:00am: Lunch
12:00 noon: Trek back to kampong Bengoh

30 people have registered for the trip. Registration is still open. Please call DBNA HQ (tel. 256163) for registration and payment of RM50 per person. Food and porters to help participants carry their stuff have been arranged and included in the RM50 fee. It is hoped that the trip will be pleasant and enjoyable for all.

Please spread the word around. These kampongs will cease to exist in 5-10 years time, and for some of us, this is perhaps the first and the last opportunity to see the place before they disappear.
