To all Bidayuh in KL please take note and spread the news to your friends.A date and venue will be confirmed later on and posted in bidayuh.com., voiceofbidayuh and bidayuh.info.
All are invited and registration form will be distributed in the meeting.

How to help my people?
There are many ways and venues. This DBNA KL is just but one way among the many. We have been talking and discussing this issues and the likes pertaining to Bidayuh, so now is the chance for us to contribute our small part in our own small way within our level best. Everybody is important and needed here. Every good deeds and contributions, in what ever form, is welcome and highly valued, for nothing can be done without people.All positive ideas and works is appreciated regardless who it comes from.
First is a dream, then it become an idea, followed by talks and argument and last but not least,a practical existence in reality.But no practical results can be achieved without the courage to take that first small steps and support of the ordinary people, they are the back bone. That first small step is the most important and decisive phase in all undertakings, for these small steps pave the way to greater things.Put success and failure aside first.Do what we have to do and all that we can to start. First things first.
If we succeed in making DBNA KL a success and making it a Bidayuh legacy in KL,it will be a success for each and every single bidayuh and a good sign that we indeed can unite, work together in cohesiveness towards one purpose and goals, a reminder that we are as good as others. These things are important. Together we disprove the notion that we are weak in almost all aspects. Prove them wrong.Like all human being,we bidayuh need some tangible, practical and beneficial physical entity as a source of pride and focal point to unite, to remind and a cause to work together. Social organistion is just one venue. A catalyst must first be find and follow tru with practical planning and implementation.
Ask ourselve what we can do to help oneself,ones friends and the people, do not blame others and all outside factors but look both inside and outside.The saying says that no one will respect us if we do not respect ourselves, and respect just didn't come rolling by, it needs to be earn.
Dr.Mahathir Mohammad knows this very well. First he start with his book' The Malay Dilemma' to tickle and arouse the passion of the malays concerning themselves.He wants the malays to become a respected, enligthened pragmatic race having a strong sense of pride to their country. Then he took a very drastic and unorthodox approach. Instead of working tru the inside factors that produce implicit result, he chooses the practical, tangible outside factors. He knew that it will take a very long time (sometimes endless) to change the attitude,mindset and values of the people, so he built the petronas twin tower, sepang circuit, proton,penang bridge, klia, putrajaya and others. Let people say what they want,(white elephant, wastage etc..) but surely, when people are force live in some different atmosphere and environment, they have no choice but force to adjust accordingly. Let it produce a by product of what we call'first class facility, but third class mentality' but surely peoples mind will change. Dr. Mahathir can do this in grand scale because he had the money and the power to to do. But the crux of the story is he change people's inner make ups tru outside physical practical infrastructures. The rest of human factors will takes it course as the water will find its own level.
We can amulate by doing it in our very own version and small scale. Is it not a source of pride and unity for Bidayuh if we have our very own successful coperatives or mini-supermarket it Serian, Bau or even Kota Sentosa (start of by creating cooperatives taking advantage of the nmbers and buying power of Biadyuh in these areas? just an example)
Having a big successful business company is helping the Bidayuh, but so does going into politic,succeeding in education,a healthy body and mind, a happy family,positive gesture and speaking biayuh, to mention a few.There are many ways we can help our people. What it takes is willing heart,conviction and that first small practical steps.
