I am quiet touch with Mr Blink article on the trust ( among bidayuhs) matter. I never heard slogan "Bidayuh Boleh" from any bidayuh politician or leaders before. I never been home for 1 year 4 moths. How can we recite something that we are not willing to do. It is something like knocking a big empty drum to tell the villages that it contained water. Trust comes with actions and persistence care. Not only in partnership, but even in the family itself. Father insult his children and children rebel against parent. It is normal in our setting but abnormal and immoral.
Looking for more capable business partner always good all the time but we tense to forget our own people. Do we know why Chinese always success in their business? They thrust each other and the same time they work in unity to gain the same interest. I had experience once i applied for study aid from native organization and they ask my favor to wait for the aid to be sent through my bank account. However maybe of some difficulties, i failed to get it even though it was supported by YB.
I never blame on them in the matter of thrust. I kept on going ahead with all the difficulties until i graduated. Thank God. I finished my study. I trusted God and have faith more.
Now we come to the issue where we are not able to go together to achieve our goal. I never find any bidayuhs for business matter. I always work under bidayuh at the construction site with enough pay.
However, Mr Blink seemed to feel uncomfortable with bidayuh attitude to each other. Maybe we are not qualified to join any “Big Bidayuh Business”. Not the beer itself. beers are same but the kopitiams are different. Bidayuh prefer kaki lima than Merdeka Palace to save budget and enable them to give some to their household. We had no right to make others as friends mostly. But we can help each other so that can stand at the same height.
It is up to us t make a different. Malay said “ hendak seribu daya tak hendak seribu dalih”. If bidayuh neglected their own, Padawan Road will remains the same and less bidayuh obtains Bachelor Degree at least. As same as during Poll season. We are persuaded to vote our candiate with some promises yet we cannot get what we want after the season. Maybe because of difficulties or we trust each other “seasonly.”
As a conclusion, it doesn't matter “ boleh” or “not” always knocked the a contained barrel to bring your people drink. If it is contained, knocked it loudly. If it is empty, knock it slowly and tell the people that it is empty.
