It has been very exciting to know that we Bidayuh has few organistions and bodies set up for the purpose of to help the community. We have the DBNA, KOBIB,BGA,and few others.

The common norm that determine the success and affectivity of an organisation is the support and participation of its intended targets or audiences.Organisations are only means to meet the goals, they are not the goal themselves. Pertaining to this,communicating its existence, identity and image to the audience /Bidayuh community is important.We can not afford to ignore this aspect.Only after its existence is known, realised and accepted by the public will they recieve supports and other practical encouragement from them.

The issue here is how effective are we - our organisations- in communicating their existence and activity to the Bidayuh community and how well are these organisations accepted and realised by the public? How many percent of the whole Bidayuh community knew the existence of these useful organisations? What is the level of their association and interaction with these organisation? Their trust and willingness to work and support the organisation? and few others. These are all the important aspects that should be taken into consideration and seriously work into.

My suspicion is that a large section of the Bidayuh community, especially the kampungs,has a very low knowledge of these organisations, let alone their interactions and participation, ironically, these organisation are meant to help them.Ways and means must be find to achieve this if we want to see our organisations meet their goals.

We can always use the tua kampungs and JKK to help. It must be done consistently and often. Make sure that all level of Bidayuh society know and interact with these organsations. They must know the benefits to get involved with this organisations.

Printings and news letters can also be helpful, but they must be consistent and prolonged distribution.

Visual campaign - these organisations can organised meet the the people activity, akin to 'hari pelanggan'.

Use the electronic medias - the radio Bidayuh.

And few more.

Only after these aspect is established, then we plan the next agendas and implementation.

This is the basis for any organisation, so we ought to take it into consideration.
