ROAD CONDITION AT JALAN MERURUN ENTABAI
As a concerned citizen, I would like to express my regrets about the condition of the road at Jalan MERURUN ENTABAI,Sarawak.Furthermore, the particular road has not been seal tar ever since 30 years ago.The road which has been maintained by the Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) to no end and which is not satisfactory to the comfort and the usage of the public. At present, the poor condition of the gravel/earth road is too poor and to make matters worst, the construction of the bridge near Kampong MERURUNis still going on ,but don’t know when it would be completed. As the site is look like, iron scrapyard area,those steel bars along the road side are looked rusty and how does the Jabatan Kerja Raya would passed this jobs. More worst then the public had to endure muddy terrain due to the heavy rainfall or it might more worst smoky dusty due to dry weather.
The road runs through an area which has been developed as an active agricultural area.
like, PEPPER plantation ,Selcra oil palm and other commercial plantation such as Pepper and Rubber is going on. To my understanding, any government land or NCR land which contains agricultural activities would get priority concern on its infrastructure. However, on this case, it has totally been neglected
I would like to propose that the particular party would set an interest to make an investigation and to sound this matter out PLEASE. I cannot find any reason fit to overlook why the road should not be in a more proper state. An upgrade is urgently needed and should be done by the appropriate party.
